Is grab hire cheaper than skip hire?
For bulky, heavy waste it often is. One grab lorry can take the equivalent of several skips in a single visit, and there is no skip left on your property for days.
Do I need a permit for a grab lorry?
Usually not. Because the lorry loads and leaves in one visit, you normally do not need the road permit that a skip left on the highway would need. If you are unsure about your site, just ask.
